It has always been a dream and a “bucket list” item of mine to write a book of some sort. In April of 2018, while sitting inside a Starbucks in Portland, OR an overwhelming sense and feeling (the Holy Spirit) came over me that I should write a unique and impactful children’s book about childhood cancer.  A book that could help inspire thousands of children battling through this journey.  A book that could bring them joy and hope.

Based off my experience with watching what my father went through with his personal battle with cancer, organizing nearly 100 children’s hospital visits across the nation, and spending quality time with hundreds of brave and courageous children, I knew exactly what this book would be about.  It was on this day that the idea for Bravery Books LLC was created and Sir Roland’s BIG Adventure was born.

Three years later, I stand in awe of God’s goodness and faithfulness. What once began as a dream has now become a reality. My first children’s book was completed and published, and today I’m grateful to share my second book, Hope’s Freedom, has also been completed and published. To God be the glory.
